Iranian airstrikes claim fifth fatality, injured person dies at area hospital
ERBIL, January 16 — A person wounded in a series of missile strikes by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps on Erbil late Monday died from their injuries after being transported to the city’s Emergency Hospital.
The Kurdistan Region Security Council issued a statement following the strikes confirming four fatalities and six other injuries.
As of writing, the number of confirmed fatalities is five.
