Taxi stolen by a passenger in Baghdad’s Doura district
BAGHDAD, January 16 — In an unusual incident reported by a local source in Doura, in central Baghdad, an unidentified girl orchestrated a bizarre carjacking, making off with a taxi and disappearing to an unknown location.
Details obtained by 964media reveal that the girl hailed a taxi from the Doura area, claiming to be headed to New Baghdad. After traveling a short distance, she requested the driver make a stop at a nearby store and buy something for her. As soon as the driver stepped out, the girl reportedly jumped into the driver’s seat and sped away.
According to a source, descriptions of both the girl and the stolen car have been shared with the security forces for further investigation.
