Scattered showers on Tuesday before temperatures rise through week
BAGHDAD — Northern Iraq will see scattered light rain showers on Tuesday before conditions clear and temperatures gradually rise through the end of the week, the meteorological authority said Monday.
Tuesday will be partly cloudy in central and northern regions, with chances of light rain in scattered northern areas, while the south remains clear. Temperatures will dip slightly in central and southern areas. Highs will range from 22°C in Duhok to 37°C in Basra, with Baghdad reaching 28°C.
Wednesday will be clear to partly cloudy in central and southern areas, with light thundery showers in scattered northern locations. Temperatures will rise slightly in central regions, remain steady in the north and dip slightly in the south.
Thursday will be generally clear with some cloud, with slight temperature increases in northern and southern regions.
Friday will be clear to partly cloudy overall, with temperatures rising slightly in central and northern areas and dipping slightly in the south.
