Baghdad releases stamp in honor of Arab women

Baghdad – On Monday, the Ministry of Communications unveiled a new stamp titled “Baghdad: Capital of Arab Woman,” marking a gesture of support for Palestinian women in the Gaza Strip. The stamp, showcasing the Iraqi and Palestinian flags, symbolizes the bond between the women of these regions.

Directed by Dr. Hiam Al-Yasiri, the minister of communications, the General Company for Postal Services and Savings has produced 20,000 copies of the stamp.

It aims to commemorate Baghdad’s recognition as the Capital of Arab Woman, emphasizing Iraqi women’s backing for their Palestinian counterparts in Gaza.

The stamp will be available from Tuesday at the Stamp Enthusiasts Office in the Al-Alawi area, as well as at all postal offices throughout Baghdad and other governorates.
