Erbil welcomes its first official female taxi driver

ERBIL, August 15 — Erbil’s first official female taxi driver, Shahla Mohammed, received her driving license from the city’s Traffic Department, making her the first woman to drive a taxi in the city.

Fadel Haji, an Erbil traffic officer, shared the news on Facebook, congratulating Shahla and expressing hope that she sets an example of adherence to traffic rules.
