Land Cruiser collides with tractor in Bardarash, killing two street sweepers

BARDARASH, January 9 — A traffic accident in Duhok’s Bardarash district claimed the lives of two street sweepers and left four others injured after a Land Cruiser collided with a tractor in the town’s center.

Shvan Osman, an official from the Bardarash traffic department, told 964, “The Land Cruiser driver, who had reportedly fallen asleep, collided with a tractor. This led to five workers being caught under the collision, resulting in three injuries and two fatalities.”

The driver of the Land Cruiser sustained minor injuries in the accident. He was taken into custody for further investigation, Osman confirmed.
