Central Bank of Iraq announces over $207 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD, January 4 — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Thursday its foreign currency sales reached $207 million in one-day transactions, based on the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraqi dinars per U.S. dollar.

Bank data revealed that total cash withdrawals amounted to $43,780,000, while total transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $163,943,357. Overall total sales amounted to $207,723,357.
