Erbil, December 31 – The editor-in-chief of 964media’s sports desk and sports bulletin presenter, has been recognized as the best sports journalist in Iraqi Kurdistan. This accolade comes from a digital survey conducted by the Sports Information Center, an esteemed Iraqi center known for its annual awards in various sports categories.

The survey was comprehensive, covering a wide range of sports-related achievements including the best president of the Football Union, exceptional clubs, athletes, research centers, commentators, and journalists. Within the category of top Kurdish journalist, 12,852 individuals participated in the vote.

Arsalan Abdullah emerged as the clear winner in his category, amassing 5044 votes. This impressive tally represents 39% of the total votes cast, underscoring his considerable influence and recognition in the field of sports journalism in Iraq. This achievement highlights Abdullah’s contribution to sports journalism and his standing as a leading figure in the industry.
