Clear skies with scattered clouds forecast across Iraq

BAGHDAD – Iraq’s Meteorological Authority said Tuesday that weather will remain mostly clear nationwide, with scattered clouds appearing in the north and south.

The authority reported that temperatures are similar to those recorded Monday, with slight increases in some cities. Conditions are expected to be moderate overnight and in the early morning, while mountain areas remain cold.

Northwesterly winds are forecast at light to moderate speeds of 10–20 km/h, occasionally becoming active and stirring dust in many regions.

Morning visibility is expected to drop to 5–7 kilometers because of dust and air pollution, before improving later in the day.
