Increasing demand for home surveillance cameras in Hit

HIT, October 16 — The demand for the installation and renewal of external surveillance cameras for homes in Hit has increased significantly. These cameras have proven effective in reducing crime rates by helping to deter theft and identify criminals.

The typical surveillance system consists of four cameras, and available brands in the Hit market include Hikvision, Dahua, UNV, and Axis.

When customers require a higher number of cameras, a router device can be installed, which can receive up to eight channels, and the number of cameras can be expanded from 8 to 16, and up to 64 channels in a single receiving device.

Osama Yassin, owner of a camera installation store, said:

“Residents want to monitor their homes or businesses at all times, especially when they are away, which is why they purchase surveillance systems.

The most sought-after camera types are the mid-range ones, with normal quality camera systems available for approximately 150,000 dinars.

High-quality systems start at 175,000 dinars and installation fees for these systems typically range from 30,000 to 60,000 dinars.”

Raed Abdullah Mohammed, Director of Media for the Anbar Police, stated:

“Thanks to the cameras, crime rates have dropped to just 1%, especially after the return of displaced people. We have also launched awareness campaigns on the importance of installing surveillance systems, and the response from citizens has been excellent.”
