One killed in traffic incident on Kirkuk-Riyadh road

KIRKUK — A traffic collision Tuesday evening on the road connecting Kirkuk and the Riyadh subdistrict resulted in one fatality and four injuries, according to Ahmed Hawas of the Riyadh subdistrict traffic police.

Hawas explained that the incident involved a Toyota pickup and a Hyundai Elantra near Riyadh. The driver of the pickup was killed, while four others sustained injuries in the collision.

All injured individuals were transported to Kirkuk Teaching Hospital. Two of the injured are from Tal Afar district, and the other two are from Al-Alam subdistrict. The deceased driver was identified as a resident of Tal Ali village in Hawija district.
