Al-Fayyadh: Popular Mobilization Forces ‘remains loyal’ to to supporters, including Iran

DIYALA— Faleh Al-Fayyadh, the head of the Popular Mobilization Forces, said on Friday that the forces are “fully prepared to face any danger”. He emphasized the PMF’s “loyalty” to all those who have supported them, including the Islamic Republic of Iran.

He revealed ongoing efforts to acquire weapons that enable the PMF to “defend the homeland”.

Excerpts from Faleh Al-Fayyadh’s speech in Diyala:

The Popular Mobilization Forces is firmly present to pursue the goals of the martyrs and the fatwa of defensive jihad.

The goal of defending the homeland lies in protecting religion, sacred sites, the people, and preventing injustice.

The Popular Mobilization Forces defended the homeland and played a pioneering role in spreading the spirit of victory and jihad.

This country has protectors, most notably the PMF, alongside the army, police, and counter-terrorism forces.

We are defenders of the homeland at all times, alongside our brothers in the security apparatus.

We possess the means, determination, and ability to defend the homeland.

The PMF is an entity that derives its strength from the legacy of the martyrs, the religious authorities, and the experience of victory.

We are not concerned with those who slander and cast doubt, as we operate under the command of Joint Operations and the General Command of the Armed Forces.

We are fully prepared to face any danger, and currently, we do not perceive any real threat.

The PMF was built under fire, far from classical frameworks.

Readiness for sacrifice is the secret of the PMF’s strength.

The armament conditions for the PMF have been extremely challenging, but now we possess innovative manufacturing lines in collaboration with the Military Industrialization Authority.

We work on acquiring weapons that enable us to defend the homeland, not to engage in wars in other countries.

The PMF now exceeds a quarter of a million fighters.

All Iraqi people feel that the PMF belongs to them.

The large number of personnel in the PMF has contributed to spreading national spirit and involving everyone in its forces.

The PMF has been keen to include all components of the Iraqi people.

The PMF Authority remains loyal to the religious authority, the martyr leaders, and everyone who supported us, including the Islamic Republic.

Iraq fights with its hands, eyes, and everything it possesses to maintain victory.

Great values are built only through great sacrifices, such as our martyr leaders.

On this occasion, we remember the significant and pivotal role of the martyr Haj Qassem Soleimani.

The martyr Abu Mahdi Al-Muhandis played a role and left an impact on every aspect of the PMF.
