A strongly worded official letter

Civil aviation authority bans Iraqi Airways’ equipment at Baghdad international airport

BAGHDAD, September 24 — The Civil Aviation Authority has issued a strongly worded official letter to Iraqi Airways, indicating the prohibition of the airline’s equipment from operating on the aircraft parking area at Baghdad International Airport starting from October 1st. This ban will remain in effect until the company obtains a work permit.

According to a document obtained by Network 964, the reason for the ban is primarily due to the poor performance of most of Iraqi Airways’ equipment, including issues such as oil leakage and irregular emissions, which have a negative impact on the aircraft parking area and environmental pollution.
