Iraqi central bank reports foreign currency sales over $207 million
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Wednesday its sales from the foreign currency auction reached over $207 million in one-day transactions, based on the official rate of 1,310 dinars to the dollar.
According to bank data, total cash withdrawals amounted to more than $20.6 million. Meanwhile, the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, were over $186.8 million. Aggregate sales totaled over $207.4 million.
