Iraq’s central bank reports over $206 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its sales of foreign currency on Monday totaled more than $206 million in one-day transactions, based on the official rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.

According to the bank’s data, total cash withdrawals amounted to $30.03 million. Total for transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, were over $176.5 million, bringing total sales to more than $206.5 million.
