Police arrest three with over 1000 captagon pills
BABIL — Babil police apprehended three individuals found in possession of over 1000 Captagon pills in an operation at the Hillah-Najaf check point, as reported by the Interior Ministry in a statement.
The ministry’s statement detailed the operation: “Our forces at the Hilla-Najaf checkpoint, affiliated with the Babil Police Command, have foiled a drug trafficking plot by arresting three suspects with more than 1000 Captagon pills in their possession.”
The statement added that the arrested individuals, along with the seized narcotics, were “handed over to the competent authorities for further legal action and eventual prosecution to ensure they face justice”.
