Muthanna provincial council elects new governor

MUTHANNA — Al-Muthanna Provincial Council elected Muhannad Al-Attabi, leader of the Hizb al-Fadhila al-Islami (Islamic Virtue Party), as Governor, and Ahmed Dariol, leader of the Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, as president of the provincial council today.

Furthermore, the council selected Muayad Al-Asadi, a member of Tayyar Al-Hikma (National Wisdom Movement), as the First Deputy Governor, and Haider Al-Wahami, a member of the Badr Organization, as the Second Deputy Governor.
