Najaf provincial council elects Yusuf Makki Kanawi as governor
NAJAF, February 5 — Najaf’s provincial council voted to elect Yusuf Makki Kanawi as governor and head of the local government on Monday.
The council also selected Emad Al-Musawi as the First Deputy Governor and Karar Mahbooba as the Second Deputy Governor.
