Baghdad authorities resume Al-Ridawi Street project
BAGHDAD, August 15 — Baghdad Municipality’s Roads Department and the Second Al-Sadr Municipality Department have resumed work on the remaining sections of the Al-Ridawi Street development project, stretching from Al-Quds Intersection in the Jamila neighborhood to Al-Sadda in the east.
The development project includes paving the sidewalks on both sides of the street and the inner alleys, as well as paving the street itself and maintaining the sewage network.
A source from the Al-Sadr Municipality, told 964: “Today, the work to complete the development of the remaining sectors of Al-Ridawi Street was launched, including sectors 35, 70, 71, 36, 38, and 72, as well as other areas near the gas station and elsewhere.”
“Once the allocated funds are released for these sectors, the municipality’s teams will enter the alleys to pave them with cobblestones, on the condition of removing encroachments from the sidewalks and streets.”
