Kifri municipality launches projects for youth employment

KIFRI, January 30 — The Kifri municipality has announced plans to launch four small-scale projects aimed at boosting job opportunities for local youth.

The initiatives include establishing a warehouse, a truck garage, a car service center, and a truck scale.

Ali Khurshid, head of the municipality, said in an interview with 964media that the projects have received necessary approvals and are currently undergoing a plan re-checking phase.

Khurshid stressed that once procedures are completed, a tender process will be initiated to assign these projects to contractors.

He expressed an urgency to accelerate these projects, with hopes to start construction in the coming months, providing numerous employment prospects for young residents in the district.
