Security forces discover teen’s body in Diyala
DIYALA, January 25 – Local security forces found the body of an 18-year-old man on Thursday, two days after he was reported missing in the orchards of the Shoruwin region in Diyala.
A source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told 964media, “Security forces from the Mansouriya district police found the body of a young man born in 2006, with wounds suggesting he was shot in the head with a hunting rifle, in the orchards surrounding Shoruwin village on the outskirts of Mansouriya. The victim had been missing for two days, and we found his body today.”
The victim’s body was transferred to forensic medicine, while security forces continued an investigation into the incident.
