Art exhibition showcases women’s paintings in Kalar

KALAR, January 24 — Sixteen women from across Garmiyan launched a one-day art exhibition on Wednesday titled “Women’s colors enrich life.”

Held in Kalar, the event was organized by the Women’s Line Art Group, in collaboration with a German organization, the Association for International Cooperation.

Berivan Mohammed, the art group’s, shared with 964media, “All members of the group are women. We try to give an opportunity for the women artists in our area who have been overlooked so far.”

The exhibition showcased 40 paintings, exclusively line and oil paintings.
