Al-Rayyan wins crazy final in Abu Ghraib
ABU GHRAIB, BAGHDAD, January 21 – The Al Khudair Sevens Stadium in Al-Saadan, Abu Ghraib, hosted the dramatic conclusion of its Popular Teams Reservation Championship on Friday evening. The championship, featuring 16 local teams, was enlivened by renowned commentator Ahmed Jeddou and attracted a large audience.
Known for its passionate fans, Al-Saadan, also called Ameriyat Al-Saadan, witnessed an exhilarating final. The Al-Rayyan team secured the championship title, making an impressive comeback against the defending champions, Al-Salam team. Trailing 3-1 at halftime, Al-Rayyan turned the game around in the second half, scoring a total of five goals. The high-energy and competitive final match captivated the local sports community.
