Anbar health department shuts down restaurants and barbershops

AL-QAIM, July 16 – The health department in Anbar’s Al-Qaim shut down 15 restaurants and barbershops today for various violations as officials in the governorate launch a campaign to track violations at businesses.

Jumaa Jasim, Director of the Qaim Sector for Primary Healthcare, told 964: “We have launched a wide-ranging campaign in Qaim district to monitor markets and ensure the safety of residents.”

“In response to health violations ranging from improper storage practices by food vendors to a lack of cleanliness in barber shops. Strict measures will be taken against those who jeopardize the lives of the population,” Jasim added.
