Unprecedented winter blooms: rose garden flourishes in chilly Penjwen

PENJWEN, January 6–In an unusual occurrence, a rose garden in Penjwen has thrived amid the snow and chilly climate, a phenomenon attributed to the unusually favorable winter weather for their growth, as reported by Mohammed Kamal, a master’s student in the Department of Plant Protection at Salahaddin University.

Despite the trees showing signs of active growth, Kamal warns that the severe cold may result in their complete drying, posing a threat to their spring revival.
