Rapid response forces arrest 3 smugglers transporting 41 tons of unlicensed medications
SALAH AL-DIN, December 27 — A Rapid Response Force unit apprehended three suspects on Wednesday caught smuggling 41 tons of unlicensed medications using cargo vehicles in the Suleiman Beg area.
The Ministry of Interior issued a statement, which read:
As part of the efforts to combat financial crimes, the first brigade of the third division of the Rapid Response Forces, in collaboration with the intelligence department of the brigade, successfully arrested three individuals involved in smuggling a large quantity of unlicensed medications, estimated at 41 tons, using cargo vehicles in the Suleiman Beg area of Tuz Khurmatu district of Salah Al-Din governorate. The suspects, along with the confiscated materials, were handed over to the relevant authorities in accordance with legal procedures.
