Bicyclists in Baghdad push for higher voter engagement ahead of elections

BAGHDAD, July 21 — Dozens of people in Baghdad participated in a bicycle marathon on July 21, organized by the Independent High Electoral Commission.

The race was part of a media campaign aimed at updating voter data started from Al-Faris Al-Arabi Square, heading towards Al-Rawwad Intersection, then to Abu Ja’far Al-Mansour Square, passing through 14 Ramadan Street, and finally reaching Al-Zaytoun Street in Al-Karkh district.

Participants said they were happy to be part of the event, especially since it encouraged many of them to engage in the electoral process.
