IHEC: 29% turnouts for Sinjar displaced persons

DUHOK, December 16 — The Iraqi High Election Commission, IHEC, in Duhok announced on Saturday that the turnout of IDPs from Sinjar has reached 29% by 4:00 PM, confirming the absence of any violations during the voting process.

Khaled Abbas, Director of the Electoral Commission, said:
“Until now, 29% of turnouts in the camps have participated in the voting process. No violations or complaints have been recorded during the election process in the governorate.”
