PMF says no casualties in airstrikes targeting 30th Brigade in Nineveh

NINEVEH — The Popular Mobilization Forces said Tuesday that airstrikes targeted the area of  30th Brigade under its Nineveh Operations Command, without causing casualties.

In a statement, the PMF said the attack took place at 8 p.m. It described the attack as a “Zionist-American aggression with six treacherous airstrikes.”

Earlier in day, an airstrike on a 17th Brigade position in Rutba district, Anbar, killed two PMF fighters and wounded four others, the PMF said, with footage showing smoke rising from the targeted checkpoint.

Consecutive strikes on Habbaniyah base in Anbar last week killed 22 military personnel over two days, including the PMF Anbar operations commander. Neither the United States nor Israel has publicly claimed responsibility for any of the strikes.
