Iraqi Railways announces special trains for football fans traveling to Iraq vs. Indonesia match in Basra

BAGHDAD, November 13 — The Ministry of Transport announced on Monday the schedule for railway trips for sports fans on the Baghdad-Basra route to attend the Iraq vs. Indonesia match in Basra.

A statement from the Ministry of Transport said:

Iraqi Railways Sets Schedule for Sports Fans’ Transportation on Baghdad-Basra Route:

In support of our national team and Iraqi football fans, the Iraqi Railways General Company intends to operate trains from Baghdad to Basra and vice versa to transport sports fans for the Iraq vs. Indonesia match (for the World Cup qualifiers).

The trips begin on Wednesday, November 15.

The match is scheduled for Thursday, November 15, at 5:45 p.m. Baghdad time.

Reservations from Baghdad train station must be made in advance (round trip) during official working hours or before the train’s departure by hours.

Train schedule is as follows:

First Train: Departure at 7:00 p.m.
First Additional Train: Departure at 8:00 p.m.
Second Additional Train: Departure at 9:00 p.m.
