Qatar offers 26 master’s and Ph.D. scholarships for Iraqi students

BAGHDAD, November 8 — The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on Wednesday that 26 master’s and Ph.D. scholarships at the Doha Institute in Qatar would be available for Iraqi students in various disciplines.

A statement from the Ministry of Education, received by 964, said:

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces the availability of 26 Qatari scholarships for master’s and Ph.D. studies in various disciplines.

The Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department explains that the scholarships are distributed as follows: 18 scholarships for master’s studies in the fields of social sciences, humanities, economics, management, and public policies, and eight scholarships for Ph.D. studies in the fields of political science, international relations, critical security studies, public administration, development economics, media studies, sociology, history, and Arabic lexicographical linguistics, provided by the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies.

The application deadline is Monday, January 15, 2024, and students can apply through the special link provided by the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Department.”
