Weather report
Partly cloudy skies, mild temperatures expected across Iraq
BAGHDAD – Iraq’s Meteorological Authority reported that weather conditions on Saturday will be mostly clear with intermittent cloud cover, which is expected to increase in central and southern regions, leading to partly cloudy skies.
Temperatures are expected to remain similar to Friday’s levels. Conditions will stay relatively cold during morning and nighttime hours, with mild temperatures during the day. Mountainous areas will experience noticeably cooler weather.
Winds are variable, remaining calm at times and shifting to a northwesterly direction in some areas, with speeds ranging from 10 to 20 kilometers per hour.
Horizontal visibility is estimated between 8 to 10 kilometers in most regions. However, visibility may drop to between 4 and 6 kilometers in central and southern cities in the morning due to haze and increased levels of airborne pollutants.
