Halabja barber offers free home haircuts for people with disabilities and health conditions
HALABJA — A young barber from Halabja has begun offering free at-home haircuts to people with health conditions, disabilities, or other circumstances that prevent them from visiting a barbershop.
Rawezh Lihon announced the initiative on social media, saying he started the service two weeks ago. “I announced this activity without expecting anything in return,” he told 964media. “It doesn’t have to be financial. Some people simply can’t go to the shop—whether due to illness or physical limitations. I do this as a human duty.”
Lihon said it was not his first community effort. “Previously, I went to schools and gave free haircuts to any student who needed one,” he said. “I’ve made a decision that as long as I have strength in my body, I’ll continue this work.”
“Thanks to God Almighty, we’ll keep doing any good work we can and remain committed,” he added.
