Clear skies and rising temperatures expected in coming days
BAGHDAD — Iraq’s Meteorological Authority reported on Saturday that weather conditions across most of the country will be generally clear, with some cloud formation expected in the Kurdistan Region areas that may lead to partially cloudy skies at intervals.
Temperatures are expected to be similar to the previous day, with a slight increase in some cities. The report noted that nighttime and early morning hours will be relatively mild, while mountainous areas will continue to experience cooler conditions.
Northwesterly winds will range from light to moderate at 10–20 km/h, occasionally becoming active and causing light dust in many regions.
Horizontal visibility is expected to decline to between 3–5 kilometers in the morning due to dust and pollutants, improving as the day progresses.
