Law enforcement campaign in Basmayah targets reckless driving

BASMAYAH, October 19 — Ministry of Interior’s units in Basmayah conducted a campaign to enforce the law and hold violators accountable, especially among those practicing drifting and high-speed driving within the area.

One of the emergency police officers in Basmayah, for Network 964:

“After coordinating with the community police and traffic officers, we carried out a joint campaign to control violators and monitor negative activities, including drifting and reckless speeding.”

Mohammed Wael, a member of the community police:

“Working in Basmayah requires a great deal of effort and cooperation from the residents because the city is vast.”

“Several violations were identified and individuals involved in unlawful activities on the streets and within the premises were apprehended.”

“The campaign will continue daily until after midnight.”

“This campaign is highly beneficial and will make the city more orderly and peaceful. Community police play an effective role as a link with the law and enhance the trust of Basmayah residents.”
