Iraq Central Bank reports over $257 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Tuesday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $257 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.

Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $5,050,000 , while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $252,743,643 , according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $257,793,643.
