Iraq Central Bank reports over $250 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Thursday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $250 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 Iraq dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals downs to $13,800,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $236,778,573, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $250,578,573.
