BAGHDAD, September 18 — Iraq’s Ministry of Finance on Monday denied rumors of an attempted breach of its electronic systems, confirming that all approved systems were operating normally and were secured using the latest security measures.

A statement from the Ministry said:

The Ministry of Finance denies the rumors circulating on social media regarding an alleged attempt to breach its electronic systems. The Ministry confirms that all its approved systems are functioning normally and are secured using the latest, impenetrable security systems. It also urges people not to engage with spreaders of rumors and any content published outside its official channels by individuals or entities with the intent to disrupt and mislead public opinion.
