Iraq Central Bank reports over $279 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD – The Central Bank of Iraq announced Monday that its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions exceeded $279 million at the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per $1.
Total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $14,350,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $265,380,506, according to the bank’s data. The overall sales totaled $279,730,506.
