President of Iraq extends condolences to Moroccan king

BAGHDAD, September 10 — President of the Republic Abdel Latif Rachid, on Sunday, offered condolences to King Mohammed VI of Morocco for the tragedy of the devastating earthquake that struck a number of Moroccan cities.

“Your Majesty King Mohammed VI, King of the Kingdom of Morocco,

Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.

With profound sadness and grief, we followed the unfortunate earthquake that struck several cities in Morocco, resulting in the loss of many innocent lives.

Our heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies go out to Your Majesty, the families of the victims, and all those affected by this tragedy. We also extend our prayers for the swift recovery of the injured.
