Iraq’s central bank reports over $279 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Tuesday its foreign currency sales in one-day transactions, amounting more than $279 million at the official exchange rate set at 1,310 IQD per USD.
According to the bank’s data, total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $32,540,000, while the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $246,569,006. The overall sales totaled $ 279,109,006.
