Nasiriyah intelligence officer found shot dead on city ring road

DHI QAR — Police in Dhi Qar discovered the body of a Nasiriyah Intelligence Unit member on Friday, found shot multiple times along the city’s ring road, according to a security source.

“The body was found lying on the ring road in Nasiriyah after being shot several times,” the source told 964media. “It has been transported to the forensic medicine department.”

Security forces have launched an investigation into the incident to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
