Central bank of Iraq reports currency sales of $279 Million

BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) on Wednesday announced its currency sales, which exceeded $279 million in one-day transactions at the official rate of 1310 dinars to the U.S. dollar.

The bank’s data revealed that the total internal cash withdrawals amounted to $13,300,000. Meanwhile, the total for foreign transfers, including remittances and credits, reached $266,256,200. The cumulative sales for the day tallied at $279,556,200.
