Central Bank of Iraq reports currency sales of $252 million
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Monday its currency sales totaled approximately $252 million in one-day transactions, according to the official rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.
The bank’s data revealed that total domestic cash withdrawals amounted to $4.42 million. Meanwhile, the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached nearly $248 million, bringing the total sales to over $252.25 million.
