Iraqi central bank reports over $211 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD — The Central Bank of Iraq announced on Sunday its foreign currency sales, amounting to more than $211 million in today’s transactions, based on the official exchange rate of 1310 dinars to the dollar.
Bank data revealed that total cash withdrawals amounted to $39,990,000, while the total for transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached $171,633,633. Consequently, the total sales in foreign currency for the day stood at $211,623,633.
