Iraq’s central bank reports over $213 million in foreign currency sales
BAGHDAD, Iraq — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced its foreign currency sales on Monday reached over $213 million in one-day transactions, based on the official exchange rate of 1,310 dinars per U.S. dollar.
According to the bank’s data, total cash withdrawals were just over $4.4 million. Meanwhile, the total amount for overseas transfers, which include remittances and credits, were nearly $209.2 million. Overall sales for the day stood at more than $213.6 million.
