Hadi Al-Amiri condemns US strikes
BAGHDAD – Hadi Al-Amiri, the leader of the Badr Organization, and a key PMF figure, has strongly condemned the recent U.S. military actions against the Popular Mobilization Forces in Al-Qa’im, located in the northwest region of Anbar. In a statement released on Saturday, al-Amiri described the attacks as a blatant aggression by the United States, marking them as an open-ended approach not confined to any recognized standards.
The statement, invoking a religious prelude, expressed a renewed denunciation of what it termed “heinous American aggression” targeting Iraqi security personnel. It highlighted the incident’s impact, resulting in the death of several members of the Iraqi forces, referred to as martyrs, and emphasized the affected units’ role in safeguarding Iraq’s borders from terrorist threats.
Statement:
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
We vehemently renew our condemnation and strong denouncement of the heinous American aggression that targeted Iraqi security forces last night in the areas of Al-Qa’im and Akashat, leading to the martyrdom of a group of our sons. What the United States committed last night by targeting clear security headquarters with their fundamental duty of protecting Iraq and its borders from terrorism unquestionably indicates its aggressive approach, open on all fronts, and not subject to known standards. Therefore, we urge Prime Minister to continue his diligent and earnest efforts to swiftly end the evil and affliction caused by the foreign military presence in our country, safeguarding national sovereignty, and ensuring the safety of our security forces and the lives of our citizens.
We appeal to the Almighty to embrace the noble souls of our martyrs in His mercy, grant them a place in His spacious gardens, and bestow speedy recovery upon the wounded.
