Central Bank of Iraq reports over $209 million in foreign currency sales

BAGHDAD, January 31 — The Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) announced on Wednesday its foreign currency sales totaled over $209 million in one-day transactions, according to the official rate of 1,310 dinars to the dollar.

Bank data revealed that total cash withdrawals amounted to $11.27 million. Meanwhile, the total amount of transfers abroad, including remittances and credits, reached over $198 million. Overall sales for the day stood at more than $209.5 million.
