BAGHDAD, January 31 – A political advisor to Iraq’s prime minister said on Wednesday that Baghdad is working to prevent current tensions in the region from boiling over into all-out war.
Fadi Al-Shammari emphasized that government-led negotiations must sustain momentum amid an ever-more complex reality in the region.

Fadi Al-Shammari, political advisor to Prime Minister Mohammed Shiaa’ Al-Sudani, affirmed that the region is undergoing intricate developments and imminent threats, requiring concerted efforts to alleviate tension.
Highlighting Iraq’s pivotal role in the regional and global arena across political, military, and economic spheres, Al-Shammari emphasized the urgency for effective measures amid ongoing changes and escalating security challenges.
