Announcing new phase of operations
Leader of Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada Condemns U.S. Strikes
BAGHDAD, 24 January — Abo Alaa Alwalae, the leader of Kata’ib Sayyid al-Shuhada, an Iraqi militia group, has announced the start of a new phase of operations in response to what they describe as “the blatant targeting of their forces by the United States in various regions of Iraq”. The group emphasized their support for the Islamic Resistance in Iraq’s initiative in this new phase.
This phase includes imposing a blockade on “Zionist maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea” and disrupting the operational capabilities of ports belonging to the “occupying entity.”
the tweet reads:
“As the criminal American occupation resumes its blatant targeting of our security forces and our sacred PMF in several areas of Iraq, we strengthen the hands of the mujahideen of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq as they commence the second phase of their blessed operations. This includes imposing a blockade on Zionist maritime navigation in the Mediterranean Sea, taking the ports of the occupying entity out of service, and continuing this until the unjust siege on Gaza is lifted and the horrific Zionist massacres against its people are halted.”
